I lied to bug. I told her about another word I was going to use and then I changed my mind. I think this was one of my mother's favorite words.
I'm going to change this a bit this week. I'm not going to put in the definition.... yet. What I would like is for you to tell me how it is pronounced (without looking it up first).

Sorry to say my grandmother actually used this word...a lot. It must have been her Indiana/Ohio Farm up-bringing. I agree with Grizz.

Yep, I would have known the word...must be a southern thang/farmer thing indeed!
we say 'vittles'. I'm from the north but we're Irish-Americans so that may explain it :)
