Mon 11/13/06 Blog Prompt: Imagine you save a man's life and later find out he is the richest man in the world. He offers to either buy you a new house and land or fix the house and land you already have any way you want. Describe either your new house and land or what improvements you would make on the land and house you already own.
At this point I would probably just make alterations to the home we already have. Such as putting in cork flooring throughout the house; painting; replacing windows, etc. I would also make an upstairs so that we could knock out floors downstairs and expand the size of the kitchen and living room.
In the yard I would have a landscape service take care of the front yard; but I would either put down wood decking or flagstone over the entire backyard (have a tiny backyard), with a built in sandbox for the kids. A built in gas grill that was large enough to handle my four-burner griddle would be a must; as well as a hot tub.

those alterations sound splendid!! and flagstone means no mowing, so won't Pan go for that?
Flagstone would be neat!Maybe Pan won't mind if there is a gas grill and hot tub!
Love flagstone... and a built in gas grill would also be a nice luxury - never have to fil that tank! But the hot tub would be a close rival :)
