Nailbiting Tribulations

Tues 10/2 Blog Prompt: You can tell a lot about a woman by how she grooms her fingernails. Tell us how yours look today.

Not all the same length, that's for sure. But they are nicely clipped. I do not use fingernail polish or have the professionally manicured, except for special occasions. I have seen what constant manicuring can do, and I want no part of it. Sweet and natural, that's me, lol.

It also helps that my fingernails grow nearly as fast as my hair (BG). So I don't have to put a lot of effort into them. Which is a good thing for me, as I would really rather be doing other things, like taking pictures of the kids, spending time with Pan, reading and so the list goes on.

You are (again) are a lot alike! Thanks for sharing! (And what a lovely ring you have.)

I can't believe we are all alike on just about everything!! I don't care for polish on my fingernails. Just keep them filed. And what lovely rings you have. Someday we all should go out for a manicure together. What a gerat scrap page!!

I don´t care about polishing my fingernails either. I did it in my youth, every day a different color - matching to the lipstick *gg* But now I simply have no patience to do this anymore.
Your Layout is lovely! Great job!

Oh darlin'!!! This is my FIRST time to visit your LOVELY blog and I am SO glad that I've found my way despite my HORRIFIC computer woes at the moment!

Consensus has it that we ALL prefer the NATURAL look!!! Are we ALL near in age? NO! Conny, I know that you are MUCH younger than I and it is refreshing to hear that trying to keep up with the fashion world does NOT matter to you anymore! I, too, find it FAR too time consuming with the exception of SPECIAL occasions such as the THREE weddings that we have attended in the past six months! He, he ...

Tink, your hands look VERY similar to mine!!! No polish, no manicure but nails are filed. I think that you have VERY lovely hands!

I really must have the STRANGEST nails that I've ever seen. I was a nail-biter until the age of 18 and my stepmom was correct in saying that my nailbeds would NEVER be normal!!! AND the nails on my left hand GROW volumes longer than those on my right, but then I'm sure that is due to the fact that I am right-handed and DO most everything with them!!!

What a WONDERFUL blog prompt. I have joined in on one and hope to catch up VERY soon.

Applebee's shrimp salad? Hmmm ... I was SO engrossed with WONDERFUL conversation that I could not give you an honest answer other than the fact that I did CLEAN my plate!!! ROFL!

BEAUTIFUL wedding ring sweetie and I hope to be sporting one come next Spring/Summer!!! It will be the ONLY piece of jewelry that you will find on my body!!!

Have a BEAUTIFUL tomorrow and THANK YOU for stopping by my blog! I look forward to getting to know you!!!

Hugs,
Linda

They look fine to me! I tend to injure myself when I clip my finger nails ;-)

I think au natural is the general concensus. I trim my nails and forget about it. Too many other things going on to really pay much attention to them.

Lovely ring, lovely hands and lovely post Tink!

I too don't put nail polish on my nails and my nails look just like yours.

Awe thanks for all the comments on the ring, I'll let Pan know. He actually bought it for his ex-fiance and when we got together I liked it so much he just had it cut down from a size 9 to a size 5.
