Lost Letters

Blog prompt: Today is Pony Express Day. If the post office decided to increase the cost to mail a letter, what would you have to say about this?

I don't know what I would say about it. Probably not much, since it has been years since I actually wrote a letter. Today we pay out bills online and communicate via email or cellphone. Though I would like for the Princess and Indy to learn how to write Thank You letters. And those would need to be mailed and that could become costly.

But then again, I guess I could complain to Pan's brother who does work for the post office. LOL.

HELLOOOOOOO LOVELY LADY!!!

I have SO missed you and your daily prompts Tink! I am beginning to see some light at the end of my "behindedness" tunnel since landing in the hospital a few weeks ago. Doesn't my poor body KNOW that I do not have time for mini "unscheduled" vacations??? ROFL!

Lesson learned and I'm slowing down and not allowing myself to get in over my head as I am accustomed to doing! Priorities. Making a list and checking it twice, gonna find out what is necessary as opposed to what might be a vice! LOL! I am SOOOO bad sometimes! I can whittle a day away without realizing it at the time and by day's end, wonder how I managed not to accomplish a thing!

As far as the increase in the cost of postage - I'm kind of weird with that I suppose. It is nothing compared to the rising cost of gas to get us to and from, however, come Christmas time and the wish to send out Christmas cards, I am often heard saying, "We cannot afford to send out cards this year"! :( ROFL! I realize there is A LOT of work behind getting a piece of mail from Point A to Point B, as well as the cost of gas to get it there, so I typically justify the need for a two-cent increase from time-to-time. Again, I find it nominal compared to the increase even in a gallon of milk, or my goodness, bread as of late!

Another GORGEOUS layout my friend! Have yourself a BEAUTIFUL weekend!

XOXO,
Linda :)

Yeah, I must admit that Christmas is pretty much the only time that I use the post to any degree. i occasionally need to mail something but those occasions are so few and far between that an increase in postage costs wouldn't really raise my temper.
Like you I pay my bills on-line and i tend to communicate using email rather han letters.

This will sound weird but my biggest problem has always been completing the envelopes. I hate doing that so I stopped writing letters years ago. I don't mind writing letters, but hate the envelopes. Maybe that is why I love emails so much!
