Wed 4/18 Blog Prompt: What's your favorite color? Describe it. Has it always been your favorite? Why is it your favorite?
I'm still thinking on yesterday's. :)
Well I told the Princess my favorite color was periwinkle. I have always liked pale purplish blue hue; not quite as bold at lavender or purple itself, but rather subtle, just outside the eyes vision. When I think of periwinkle, I think about some of the shells we use to collect at the beach (when there actually were shells to collect). More than anything, though, I just like the name

periwinkle was one of my fav's in my crayola days. just because of the name. and magenta.
periwinkle is a gorgeous colour I had that colour for my bridesmaid dress a million yrs ago hahahaha
Yep, one of my favorite crayons as well...and I never thought about it, but maybe it was the name!
Periwinkle is a beautiful flower too that loves the sun. Seems we all like pink and purple
Deep, dark indigo - the color of the ocean 1000 miles from land. A purplish blue so dark that it's nearly black.
