Wed 12/13 Blog Prompt: What's the most peculiar gift you've ever received? Describe what happened when you opened it and your reaction.
It wasn't peculiar but was unusual as it was unexpected especially from my father. The Christmas I was 16 he bought me a silk nightie and negligee. Definitely not something that I expected. It was a wonderful gift on so many levels, the most prominent being that he had started to realize that I was growing up.
