Fri 7/3 Blog Prompt: Today is Disobedience Day. If you could protest about something, what would it be?
I'm more of a work behind the scenes type of person, but if I was to take up a picket and march to a tune, it would be the unfair treatment of middle class working Caucasian men. Years ago laws were passed to promote the equal treatment of working persons of all races, creeds, age and gender. And I approve of the measure as it stood then. But the time has now come to put it in perspective.

Oh girl, you have hit a hot button there with me too. When we were looking for scholarships for my son when he started college, we found out very quickly that if you were white and male in the US, you were left behind. He has also found that out in the work force too. Its sad, but no one will ever say that white males are discriminated against for sure.
Hope you all are getting much needed rain in your area and have a wonderful 4th Tink.
Many of the things we did years ago were good for getting equal treatment for people. But that was good many years ago and it has come the time to realize those issues aren't relevant any more.
Nailhead: meet hammer.
What you said is oh-so-true. These days, anything a white man says will be used against him.
