Weekend Blogging 3/17 - 3/18: Happy St. Patrick's Day! Post here if you update this weekend! Shall we have a green theme?
Still have a lot of work to do on the room, but my ailing computer got moved to what was suppose to be my computer/craft room. Like I said I still have lots to do. Boxes to go through (probably not my stuff); computer, cross stitch, photos, scrapbooking and sewing supplies to organize. Figure out what I want on the shelves you see; what needs to go on the shelves on the opposite wall. Move the companion black shelf from the living room to the right under side of the desk. Make room for legal papers somewhere. Build shelves in the closet and take the closet doors off.
On the wall next to the printer is another desk. Actually it is Pan's desk while mine for some reason is in his room. Another reason to take the doors of the closet. Mine won't fit there if I don't. On the wall next to the scanner is a dresser, which will be moved to the opposite wall when I get the racks cleared off and the rack trashed. Where the dresser is now, I will put the small rolling storage racks I have. You would think with all this storage space it would be a snap. But everything is so mixed up that it is going to take going through it item by item.
Wish me luck and don't be too green. Just enough to make sure you don't get pinched.

I LOVE the purple (at least it is purple on my screen). I just told My Man today I am still waiting for him to paint my computer room purple using a regular non-tachisme method (heehee). So I am green with purple envy.
But how fantastic it will be once it's all done Tink. Hang in there. You're beautifully organised room is just around the corner.
And then would you mind popping over here and organising mine?
Now I would find it a lot of fun to help you look through your stuff and help you organize( of course I would NOT want to go through my junk and organize!)You made me tired though thinking of all that you have to do! Can't wait to see what it looks like when it's done.
Ooh, looks great! I had a dedicated scrapbooking/crafting area once, then it started becoming the "pile random stuff to put away someday" place and now... well, it's a mess!
but purple is the color of creativity! so your juices should be really flowing. My plain white walls have sucked it all out of me...
Good for you for starting a project like this. It will be really nice when you get done. I need to do that with my craft room/office.
sounds like you've got your work cut out for you! but it should be well worth it to have the room you want! have fun!
