I've been Tribulating Through an Amusement Park

Fri 2/15 Blog Prompt: Feb. 14 was Ferris Wheel Day. Do you like to go to amusement parks? If so, what is your favorite park and favorite ride?

I like to go to Disney World and I love Disney Quest at the Disney Marketplace. I do not like real roller coasters but get a charge out of the virtual ones you can build at Disney Quest. It has been many years since Pan and I have gone, but the last time we were there, Bug and Brains came up for the day and that is where we headed. First we played in the Buzz Lightyear bumper cars where you got to shot cannon balls at the other cars. Brains and I paired up for that one and walloped Bug and Pan. I can't remember who was driving, but it must have been Bug because they got backed into a corner and couldn't maneuver out.

After that we did the virtual roller coaster. This time Bug and paired up and designed our roller coaster while the guys designed theirs. Then we traded designs. Pan got woozy one the one the Bug and I designed. But he really doesn't like virtual games. That meant he had to sit out the virtual Pirates of the Caribbean. Next to the virtual roller coaster, I think I liked this best.

Now, of course, I really like the Mission to Mars at Epcot. Did you know they have barf bags available?

The layout today is still of my sister's wedding, but you get to see a picture of me, too. LOL. Normally I was behind the camera.

Hmmm, I could get into a virtual roller coaster! I wouldn't feel like I was going to die.

ROFL @ "looneyhiker" above me!!! I think I'm with her!!!

Well, let's just say that it has been "a while" since I've let any part of me DANGLE about the air without being in complete control of it!!! He, he ... I would have to say that if I were to visit a theme park today, my favorite ride would be something similar to the log ride at Great America. I do LOVE the cold splash of water on a warm day!

Dearest Tink, I am SO sorry to hear that you've been battling a dratted cold and for staying away so long. Gosh, I take off for a day and I'm scattered from one end to the other!!!

I hope this note finds you feeling MUCH, MUCH better my friend.

VERY lovely layouts of your sister's wedding and you both are VERY beautiful young ladies! Glad you stepped out from behind the camera for a moment!

Well, I shall try to catch up with your tribulations this weekend as I must finish up a few projects this week. ROFL! I think I say that just about every week, don't I??? For some reason, I don't see things slowing down too much any time soon, but can't complain as I'm having lots of FUN in the process and that is what counts, right?

BIG HUGS to you sweetie and .... COLD, be warned, you must leave the body of my dearest friend Tink IMMEDIATELY! This is not a 30-day, or even a 3-day notice to vacate ... you have less than 24 hours!!!

Okay, back into my "straight jacket" until next time!!!

:)Linda

I'm a bit of a Disney tart myself Tink. I've been to Anaheim, Florida and EuroDisney. Just love them. I don't like scary roller coaster rides either. That's why I lik Diney so much. Their rides are about imagination and theyu make you feel the ride is scary whilst still knowing (dep down) that it's not. Hope that makes sense.

Love that layout, particularly the bow repetition and the title across the photos.
