Mon 12/7 Blog Prompt: Today is Pearl Harbor Day. What do you remember learning about it?
Pearl Harbor Day happened many years before my birth, but I have watched all the documentaries and even visited the monument when we went to Hawaii. Tears well when I think about all the lives lost, both American and Japanese. And I wonder how the world could have come to such straits.

Very memorable day..
I can't imagine the horror and fear that was felt that day. The closest I can relate it to is what happened on 9/11. It still makes me sad.
